Known issues with E-Roll Player Software

In some cases, the installer does not create the folder for the collection and 
playlist files. When this happens, an error is reported and lists can not be 
saved. To correct this situation, click on file on the editor toolbar and select 
preferences. The location that is referenced in the “default path” must exist. 
You can either create the folder that is listed or browse to a folder that will 
be used for the files.

It is possible that power management setting will slow down the MIDI 
tempo. This has only be found to be the case on one computer. It must be 
some odd mismatch between versions of Direct X and the computer bios or 
some other strangeness. The latest version of the program has the ability to 
scale the MIDI tempo to correct this and other tempo problems which effect 
all files.  From the player window, chose setting and them tempo correction 
and enter a scale factor. This problem has only be demonstrated with power 
saving options other than “always on” and “Home/Office Desktop” so 
another solution is to choose one of these settings.
